Matlosana Medical Health Services is group of companies, which focuses on the provision of a diversified range of services to the medical industry. The MMHS Group was formed in 2004 when MMHS acquired certain assets owned by Klerksdorp Medical Aid Scheme (KDM), which acquisition was financed through two investment by a group of medical professionals into the MMHS group.
VUWA PHARMACEUTICAL
Vuwa Pharmaceuticals’ mission statement is to become one of the largest generic pharmaceutical companies in South Africa and has identified specialised hospital injectibles and oncology as initial strategic markets. To this end it has entered into a contract with an Indian manufacturer to sell their generic oncology range in South Africa. The range is extensive and includes some slightly older generics that are already registered with the MCC. The range also has a number of new generics that have a good chance of being the first generics to market once registered by the MCC. |
